Although it was no official update on Bumrah’s return, a report from The Indian Express suggest that he is getting close to being fully fit enough to join the Indian team for the upcoming T20I tour of Ireland.

As per the report, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah returned to the game as a bowler after receiving successful treatment for his back injury.Apart from that a close watch is being kept on his recovery by VVS Laxman, head of cricket at the BCCI. Currently At the moment, Bumrah is making full use of the practice nets, delivering 8-10 overs at full intensity.

“Bumrah’s participation in the Asia Cup in September was under consideration by the selectors and the team management. The recent progress he has made might enable him to join a second-string India team next month for its tour of Ireland. Decisions on this matter are expected soon.” Report by Indian Express

He is however, training regularly at the nets without any problems. There’s a possibility that he might even play practice matches at the NCA, where training camps are taking place.
